Heparin of Biochrom GmbH is derived from porcine mucosa (as sodium salt;spec. activity approx. 170 IU/mg). It is lyophilisated of a 0.85 % NaCl solution and stabilizer-free. It should be reconstituted in 5 ml sterile water.
