Dulbecco's MEM (DMEM)

The standard formulation uses 1000 mg/l glucose, whereas the high glucose version (4500 mg/l glucose) proved to be superior for cells with higher energy requirements. Precipitates as a result of pyridoxal content are avoided, like in all  Biochrom media, through replacing pyridoxalxHCl by pyridoxinxHCl.
