New Biochrom AG website including online shop
Easy, clearly arranged, and with a great customer service area
The new Biochrom AG website makes online orders easier for its customers: there are three options how to access the shopping basket quickly, the watch list, the direct order, or the previous orders. "Of particular importance for us is the improved service that offers the website now. The order transaction is clearly-arranged, the customer’s data are always available, and interactive possibilities are offered with of our call-back service. This is exactly what customers expect nowadays", explains Dr. Wolfgang Höckh, member of the Biochrom AG Managing Board. The dynamic website was accomplished with the open-source software Typo3 by the web agency "artplan21" in Berlin.
Nearly all 3000 products are easily and clearly arranged in the online shop. Most of the products in the shop are listed including safety data sheets and product information. Biochrom AG produces about 100 different cell culture media as standard catalogue products. In the online shop, these products are individually arranged or according to the respective product groups, so that the customer is able to find the products easily.
Biochrom AG also cares for its customers outside Germany using a close distribution network that works Europe and worldwide. The new website also represents this international characteristic: the online shop and the service area are completely bilingual in English and German. The access to the shop is additionally available in Russian, French, and Spanish language.
The new service portal makes available all kind of downloads like product information, certificates of analysis, and safety data sheets. The customers can quickly retrieve the required information by using the product group selection or the product search directly. Another new feature is the newsletter. Biochrom AG informs its customers from now on quarterly about news, special sales, or laboratory tricks.
