Ham's F-10 Liquid and Powdered
Nutrient mixture Ham's F-10 was optimized for the serum free growth of hamster ovary strains and the clonal growth of chick embryo cells. Ham's F-10 is well suited for a wide variety of mammalian cells when used with a serum supplement in a 5 % CO2 atmosphere. Osmolality needs not to be adjusted when supplemented with HEPES (10 mM).
Different from the original formulation, only 0.05 mg/l riboflavin are used due to risk of photo oxidative effects.
