Change in the board of directors of Biochrom AG
Dr. Bernd Frenzel becomes new CEO
Dr. Bernd Frenzel, who had successfully managed the company as managing director and CEO already in the past for 25 years, is new CEO of Biochrom AG. He replaces the company’s previous CEO, Dr. Wolfgang Höckh, for strategic reasons.
Dr. Frenzel had resigned as CEO in September 2008 but still remained closely related to the company as chief representative. In this position, he was particularly responsible for the supply to customers with fetal bovine serum (FBS) and the expansion of the company’s business activities in Asia and South America. His committed work resulted in the start-up of Biochrom AG’s subsidiaries in Australia (Biochrom Australia Pty Ltd.) and Brazil (Biochrom do Brasil) in 2009. “I will respond to the current needs. The order situation underlines the trust our customers place in Biochrom AG – on a worldwide scale. This represents a strong basis for our company’s new orientation, which we will now promote”, states Dr. Frenzel.
